Joe Reardon obituary, It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that I share the passing of my wonderful husband, Joe Reardon. Joe was not only my partner, but also a loving father, friend, and an inspiration to everyone who knew him. He leaves behind an enduring legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering love. About three weeks ago, Joe suffered a severe ischemic stroke at home. Despite the swift and skilled efforts of medical professionals, he faced several serious complications over the course of his recovery.
Joe fought bravely through every challenge, always surrounded by the love and support of our family and friends. This morning, he peacefully left us, with the compassionate care of Cornerstone Hospice providing comfort in his final moments. We are incredibly grateful to the team at Cornerstone Hospice for their tireless dedication, support, and the dignity they provided Joe throughout his journey. It was their gentle and attentive care that allowed him to pass with peace.
A celebration of Joe’s life will be held at a later date, and we will share further details as soon as they are available. In lieu of flowers, our family kindly asks for donations in Joe’s memory to the American Stroke Association, the American Diabetes Association, or to a college fund established for our sons, Owen and Evan (please see the comments for donation links). Joe’s love, humor, and generosity touched so many lives. While we mourn his passing, we are comforted by the countless memories and the love he gave to us all. Thank you to everyone who has supported us through this difficult time.
